As a person who wants to play golf in his own home rather than going outside, I started to brainstorm ideas to play golf at home. One of the ideas that struck me was to play golf in my swimming pool. So, I quickly checked the internet to find out it already exists. YAY! We will call it Swimming Pool Golf Game.

Yes! You can absolutely play golf in your backyard swimming pool only if your pool size is average enough for a Floating Golf Green to fit. The bigger the size of the pool, the more fun it will be to play golf in the Swimming Pool.
Swimming Pool Golf is undeniably a backyard game that adds a little floating fun to it. Some may choose their backyard to be just grass meanwhile some choose to make their backyard a swimming pool. Either way, you can play golf in your backyard.
Let’s say you are going to a friend’s house or your friends are coming over to your house. Someone might ask “What games can we play in your backyard?” In the scenario where you have a plain and empty backyard, you might say “Let’s play mini-golf“, and they will easily agree to play with you. But what if there is a little plain land and a massive (hopefully) pool that covers more than half of your backyard?

If you are making a DIY pool golf game, then there is so much work you have to do. You will still need to buy the club, a ball and a lot of items. But if you are lucky enough then you might get some of the items lying in your garage or a workshop. Or, you can find it in your local Home Depot or Amazon (Link above). Economically, building DIY floating green will be the best.

The basics of playing the Swimming Pool Golf Game is to try to hit hole-in-one from the edge of the pool to the floating chipping green you placed in the middle of the swimming pool. After you have placed the floating green in the proper position of your liking, it is up to you and your friend decision how you would like to play.
